Crisis, General, & Other Assistance

  • Angel Flight: Free personal flights for medical needs, caregivers, domestic abuse, special camps, adoption, people who cannot afford commercial flights.

  • Catholic Charities of Collier County: Financial Counseling, positive parenting, substance abuse, elder outreach, ESOL, low/no income residents, food and utility assistance

  • Catholic Charities of Manatee and Venice: Counseling, financial assistance, food pantries, Haitian & Hispanic Outreach, housing, migrant assistance, mentoring, mothers and children, senior services, tutoring. (941)488-5581

  • Catholic Charities of Miami: Adult day care, mental health services, child care, elderly services, housing and shelter, Haitian family services, food vouchers, emergency assistance

  • Department of Children and Families: Report suspected abuse; potentially receive rental assistance for homes in need with children.

  • KAIR (Keys Area Interdenominational Resources): Food Pantry, medical dental and optical, financial assistance, transportation, homeless outreach. Located in Marathon, FL.

  • Monroe County Social Services:  Vast amount of services for Monroe residents including food and nutrition, in-home care, transportation, and more. (305) 292-4500

  • PCs for People: Computers for individuals and families that fall below 200% of the poverty line. Check website for listings.

  • Salvation Army Monroe County: Emergency financial assitance, rent, utilities, back to school, medical needs food vouchers; (305) 294-561
