My relocation to Orlando was motivated by a desire to make a difference, but I was met with unexpected hardship. Despite having a good job, I found myself homeless due to unforeseen circumstances and credit issues that made securing housing incredibly difficult. This was a truly challenging and disheartening time in my life. I felt lost and uncertain about the future.
Then, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to The Treehouse Foundation and its executive director, Brooke Sammons. Brooke's dedication and support were remarkable. She went above and beyond to help me navigate the complexities of finding stable housing, offering guidance and resources I didn't even know existed. Thanks to The Treehouse Foundation's program, I am now in a safe and comfortable apartment, finally able to start rebuilding my life in Orlando. I am eternally grateful for their compassion and unwavering commitment to helping people like me overcome adversity.
